The Basics
My name is Jennifer McGinn and I’m currently 24 years old. I live in England with my partner, Michael, who I first met online in 2001; we met in person on February 7th 2002 and finally moved in together in 2008. We’re officially engaged, but neither of us are in any hurry to actually get married. We have two chinchillas and live a quiet, frugal, messy life in Birmingham, England.
Opinionated
I’m a very open-minded person whose only intolerances are wilful ignorance and ignorance-based intolerance (and, er, lactose.) I’m pretty easygoing and can get along with anyone – there are only a few things which can make me lose interest in a person: racial, sexual or gender-based discrimination; dismissal of scientific fact based on religious beliefs, primarily New-Earth Creationists who can just GTFO; anybody who seems incapable of showing respect for others.
Fangirl
As a serial fangirl I naturally own Fangirl.co.uk, which is… where you are right now. The fandoms I love are fairly predictable: Harry Potter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Lord of The Rings… There are more, but I can’t be bothered to list them all. Maybe in a future update!
